Recently, during June the Parks Department hosted the "Pick-Up Game In The Park." It consisted of slow under hand pitch as in any baseball game. Several of the teams played elimination style. They had a great turn out and lots of fun!

The Parks also hosted an 8 team Walkerton Youth League Baseball tournament for ages 8 + up. Last weekend, July 14th, and 15th, the Little League Baseball league scheduled teams and filled the bleachers with spectators. The Walkerton Youth League Baseball teams consist of Major Baseball, Minor Baseball, and T-Ball from May through July.

Don't forget on Saturday, July 21st, the "Touch A Truck" FREE event will allow kids of all ages to climb into a spectacular vehicle! Firetrucks, Police Cars, Delivery Trucks, Heavy Duty Vehicles will all be on display at Scarborough Park from 10AM to 12PM near the park offices. This experience allows kids to see what adults are up to, and inspires them for the future!

The Soccer League is continuing to sign up participants. The Kids Soccer Registration is taking place. If we are not in the Scarborough Park Offices? Feel free to pick up a form outside the door in our mailbox, or print one online at:…/uplo…/2018/06/soccer-fall2018.pdf
